The twin towns of Albury–Wodonga straddle the Murray River, which marks the boundary between the southern states of NSW and Victoria. The towns boast wonderful surroundings focused on the river and its broad flood plain and the major themes of culture and heritage, the river environment, nature and other natural environments in the rivergum forests that line the banks, wonderful local food and wine, river recreation, golf and many other sports and entertainmnet options.
