One good example is the annual Sydney International Boat Show. This show is either held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, at the Cockle Bay Marina, Darling Harbour and other venues in the Sydney area.
The Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show has grown recently and is now the third largest on-the-water boat show in Australia. It is renowned for its fantastic and world class displays. Boating industry of Victoria hosts the annual Melbourne Boat Show. Every year there are more fishing gear, more boating exhibitors, more boats, and lots more fun!
The Darwin Boat Show showcases the thriving marine industry in the Northern Territory and features a huge array of exciting demonstrations and fabulous exhibits ranging from boats, fishing gear, clothing and accessories and includes all outdoor leisure-gear and equipment.

The famous Australian Wooden Boat Festival showcases the maritime craft, heritage and art of wooden boats during four fabulous fun-filled days of action, displays, trips, music, theatre, art, food and fun. The Festival is located on the docks of historic Sullivans Cove in Hobart Tasmania, right in the heart of the scenic dockside precinct. It is a beautiful spot with the backdrop of the sandstone pubs, restaurants, cafes in the heritage buildings and warehouses of the famous Salamanca area as the perfect backdrop.
